If all goes according to plan, I'm graduating in December. There will be a party to celebrate my post-college unemployment. Still very, very happy about getting out, though. I'm making my last semesters count as much as I can, though I wish I was taking more studios. Hopefully that will be what my fall semester is for. Evaluations for entrance into Advanced Painting are in a week, so I'm trying to pull a lot of work out in the interim. I didn't make much that I wanted to show last semester, but rather learned HOW to make it. I've been using color in ways I haven't done before and am very excited to show some of what I've been working on. Stay tuned, I have some beautiful work that will be completed shortly.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that I get into Advanced Painting. It's 3 days a week from 9-4. Imagine how much I could get done, all to be posted here

Other than that, more change rears it's head. We are now actively searching for a good facility for my younger brother (who has severe Autism) to live in. He is now 20 and quite a big boy, making him a little more difficult to control. He will probably live in a group home with a room mate. The search is on for a good one, though it's going to be a hard search to find someone who can tolerate some of his behavior. It will be odd not to have him at my parents' house, but he needs to change and grow just like the rest of us.
